Who Are The Culpo Sisters? (And Why Do They Have Their Own Reality Show)

A new reality program called The Culpo Sisters premiered on TLC. The new reality show is about three sisters called Olivia, Sophia, and Aurora who live in Los Angeles and “stand out in the ultra-competitive world of content creation while navigating love, heartbreak and sibling rivalry,” according to the show’s official description.

Their parents, Peter and Susan, also feature as the audience accompany the stunning trio on their adventures. They also have two brothers – Gus and Pete. Page Six reports that Peter has opened several restaurants in the Boston area, while Susan is a well-known violinist who has played for various groups, including the Boston Symphony and the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra.

“What are their careers? Don’t ask their parents Susan and Peter – they wouldn’t be able to tell you! For the first time, the three sisters are opening up their homes and hearts in an intimate, no-holds barred and playfully entertaining way,” says another of the press releases for the TLC show.

So who are the Culpo sisters, and why should you be watching their new reality show?


8/8 Olivia Culpo Was Crowned Miss Universe

You may have heard of 30-year-old Olivia Culpo, the most famous sister in the trio. In 2012, she won the Miss USA pageant, which was then owned by Donald Trump and judged by Rob Kardashian.

She went on to win Miss Universe in 2013 and was reportedly present at a controversial Las Vegas strip club meeting between Trump and Russian billionaire heir Emin Agalarov the same year.

She would later distance herself from the organization, declining to judge the Miss USA pageant in 2015.


7/8 Olivia Culpo Used To Date Nick Jonas

Olivia Culpo started dating Nick Jonas in 2013, shortly after winning Miss Universe. Their romance ended in 2015. She has also dated Tim Tebow and Ryan Lochte.

“I moved to L.A. with him,” Olivia says on the first episode of the show. “I had no brand, no money and I was in love. That was great right, but when he broke up with me, I was kind of left with no sense of identity…I couldn’t even afford my groceries. It was a serious, pivotal moment for me, but it was something that taught me that you can’t give up.”

6/8 What Does Olivia Culpo Do Now?

Olivia Culpo has had a successful career as a model. She has graced the cover of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue among other famous magazines. She has also appeared in movies like 2014’s The Other Woman and 2018’s I Feel Pretty.

Olivia also co-owns five businesses, including American eateries Back 40 and Union & Main, drinks firm VIDE, and menstrual movement More Than a Mask.

Twenty-five-year-old Sophia Culpo, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition, which she uses to inspire and inform her 200,000 Instagram followers. She “considers herself to be the most zen as she shies away from confrontation and tries to play peacemaker.”

Sophia has become a brand ambassador for several companies including USANA Health Service and has worked with several fashion brands, including Savage X Fenty and Beauty Counter.

She uses her Instagram to share tips and tricks in regard to health, nutrition, and fitness. She also uses her social media to showcase her love of fashion, her wild adventurous side and her love of cooking.

4/8 Who Is Aurora Culpo?

Eldest sister Aurora Culpo is the self-proclaimed bossy one. The 33-year-old spent years in the field of behavior analysis and special education. She is a brand ambassador for P.Volve as well as USANA Health Services Inc. Aurora has a passion for interior design, loves to do yoga and loves to share her recipes on her Instagram profile.

Aurora, as the oldest of the five, is described as someone who “always says what’s on her mind for better or worse” in a press release for the show, and she is “known to be the family boss.”

3/8 The Culpo Sisters’ Famous Partners

Olivia Culpo is currently dating Christian McCaffrey, a running back who was recently traded to the 49ers. Sophia Culpo’s boyfriend is Braxton Berrios, a wide receiver for the New York Jets.

Aurora Culpowas previously married to Survivor alum Michael Bortone. The two were together for three years until Aurora filed for divorce in April 2022. They have two children together, Remi and Solei.

On the show, Aurora reveals that she and Michael had different ideas about marriage. She also revealed that an account reached out to her on Instagram, warning her of her former husband’s infidelity, which turned out to be true.

2/8 The Culpo Sisters Get Real About Their Relationships

The Culpo sisters are not holding back when it comes to talking about their love life and their relationships.

“I worry all the time about the future. I always thought by 30 I would be married, I’d have kids,” Olivia explains.

The middle sister also talks about a rough breakup she went through. “I was with somebody that did really horrible, horrible things. I was made to feel like a less than human in every sense of the word. I’ve never talked about it before,” Olivia explains.

There was a lot happening right when we started filming,” Aurora told E! News about making the show. “My relationship took a really sharp turn and all that was all documented on my end. It was hard, but that’s what we signed up for. We committed to being vulnerable and sharing, so I did the best I could.”

1/8 What Is The Culpo Sisters Show About?

The new TLC show looks to replicate the success of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, documenting the highs and lows of a group of LA sisters.

“Winning Miss Universe changed my life overnight. I went from being a small town girl from Rhode Island to L.A.,” Olivia says in the trailer for the new show. “But my sisters couldn’t stand to be away from me so they moved too.” Olivia explains that her family is close — too close. In her words, the siblings have “no boundaries.”

“There’s no filter and there’s no shortage of drama,” she says. The Culpo Sisters airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
